Dr. med. Roger Gmür

Profile

Dr. med. Roger Gmür co-founded Klinik Tiefenbrunnen in 2001 with Dr. med. Lucas Leu. He is an FMH specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

While working as a senior physician at Inselspital Bern, Roger Gmür undertook further training in several areas of facial surgery in the United States. He subsequently specialised in procedures to improve body contours and silhouette. His areas of expertise include liposuction, body lifting and, in particular, lipofilling using the patient’s own fat for body or facial contouring and reconstruction. Breast augmentation using autologous fat transfer is a particular focus of his work. He regularly provides training in this field for surgeons from Switzerland and abroad at Klinik Tiefenbrunnen.

Outside his professional life, Roger Gmür enjoys spending time with his family, reading historical novels and Scandinavian crime fiction, and watching films — preferably ones far removed from romantic comedies.
